Welcome to another very special episode of Commander ad Populum. Commander for the people, by the people, for the people.

This week’s Community section highlights some of the ways that the online Magic community has shown me resourcefulness, creativity, dedication and productive ways to stay connected with Magic and Commander. Despite the public health situation, the Magic community is still having a great time playing Commander. Additionally, I highlight other content creators I enjoy that I think everyone should check out.

The Technical section takes a quick look at the mechanics that were introduced in the Scourge expansion. Some mainstays, and some we’ll never see again. But not for the reasons that you think.

This week’s Set Retrospective explores Scourge. Where converted mana cost mattered but not really, because we go the most broken mechanic of all time!
