Hello and welcome to another very special episode of Commander ad Populum! Commander for the people, by the people, for the people.

This week, I have another Facebook-submitted topic. Following that, I delve into the technical section of the show: a quick look at some game rules or how to sharpen an edge, in-game. Finally, each episode concludes with an MtG set retrospective. A mini review of a set from Magic‘s past. Today’s community topic comes by way of the Commander ad Populum Facebook page. I discuss how I think about, and tackle, building a Commander deck on budget.

The technical section for today covers Magic’s priority system and using words to have you opponents do some of the work for you.

Today’s set retrospective: Chronicles! Did it ruin Magic, or did it grow it into the game it is today? Tune in to hear my thoughts on the matter.
