With creatures like Favored Hoplite, Phalanx Leader and Akroan Crusader this deck looks to make fast resilient threats and back them up with some of the best removal spells in the format. I’ve been flirting with taking a modern/pauper deck to modern play night at my local store for sometime, but, just not sure what I want to go with yet. I think you could probably convert this into a heroic boros or possibly naya pauper deck Akroan Crusader/Skyguard are both decent. Lagonna-Band Trailblazer is great at clogging the ground and gets out of range of any red removal pretty quickly. You’ve already got Blades of Velis Vel and could bring in Tandem Tactics. Hoplite Satyr is a decent filler. If you go with green the creatures are a little more mana intensive and higher in cc, but, most importantly, this opens up an option like Travel Preparation, which is a Heroic all-star. There is also the possibility of Blue for Wavecrash Titan as you can essentially lock opposing creature decks out of ever being able to attack.
