Pauper Ponderings: Mono Green Convoke Austen Hoey November 9, 2017 Pauper Ponderings 6 We’re back again this week with a real sweet and spicy listerino (you’re welcome twitch chat). This crazy mono green deck plays only 12 lands, and primarily relies on using zero mana creatures like Ornithopter and Shield Sphere to cast large convoke creatures like Siege Wurm way ahead of schedule. It’s back up plan includes the cards Sprout Swarm and Scatter the Seeds in combination with Might of the Masses to overwhelm your opponents. Give this deck a try, it was a whole lot of fun. Also be sure to vote below for the format you want me to play in 2 weeks, don’t worry whatever format you choose, the list will be spicy! Reply alex November 9, 2017 I’ve run a g/w convoke deck that gets you a bit higher density of creatures that actually have power. The free artifact creatures are kind of bleh. My Stompy list is also able to pull off some of this too with Kavu Primarch and or Living Totem. I don’t like to toot my own horn, but, I think these might give you a little more oomph then running out a bunch of 0 power dudes with big backsides. As always, love the rogue pauper content Reply Anonymous November 10, 2017 possibly yeah, I like the ability to explode quickly with this deck but a slower bigger version might be better Reply Javier November 9, 2017 the list has Fog of Gnats instead of just Fog in the sideboard Reply Benjamin Jones November 9, 2017 Some equipment would help in the black matchup to make the 0/1 creatures into relevant threats. Reply Austen Hoey November 9, 2017 Yeah the only issue i can see is you lack the mana sources to play and equip them some games Reply Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
