MTG Jeff: INFINITE Magistrate Proliferate – Simic Infinite Turns Deck in Historic

Infinite is always a fun word to throw around in the MTG world. This deck has the ability to stand by it though. All you need is Magistrate’s Scepter on the board with at least 1 counter and then a way to proliferate 3 times each turn. If you have multiple Scepters with counters then you won’t need as much proliferation.

So how do we proliferate 3 times a turn? Dryad + Sage + Crucible + Fabled Passage. Each of the pieces are fairly easy to get on the board, and most can add the value you need the turn they enter. Or you can use 2x Flux Channeler and Tamiyo (who can get Contentious Plan over and over again).

Once you get the infinite turns train going you need to finish the game. This is where Nissa, Who Shakes the World comes in. She is the perfect finisher for this deck. Each land gets counters that can be proliferated and her ultimate could give us enough proliferation triggers for 2-3 extra turns. Overall, this is a very fun deck.
