It has received a lot of attention due to its infinite combo potential with Walking Ballista. While the combo isn’t available in Standard, there is still plenty of powerful shenanigans that you can do with Heliod. Being able to give ANY creature a counter each time you gain life can be quite broken. Having a 4/4 Healer’s Hawk is always fun. Also, the unsung hero of this deck is Alseid of Life’s Bounty. Having another turn-1 lifelinker is GREAT, but the value comes in its ability to give your MASSIVE Ajani’s Pridemate protection from blockers. I hope you enjoy the deck and gameplay below!
